Dit is gemaakt door dezelfde kerels (2 nijmo\'s YEAH!) die ook die mythbusters-competitie hebben gewonnen door te laten zien dat \'t vrijwel onmogelijk is 2 in elkaar gevouwen telefoonboeken uit elkaar te trekken. Dit filmpje is echter gemaakt in opdracht van/in samenwerking met een Britse special-effects studio.
De muziek die je hoort is trouwens van de hitserie LOST, wat dus ook een link legt met Lost-schrijver JJ Abrams, in welk geval we waarschijnlijk dus ook nooit te weten zullen komen wat er in de box zit, want, zoals Abrams uitlegt: het mysterie is vele male spannender dan wat er OOIT in die doos zou kunnen zitten. @5:19 draaid de hoofd persoon een zijstraat in (rechtsaf). Wanneer ik check op Googlemaps (zie Mr.SunTzu @ 10:50) dan zou dit de Cargodoorweg moeten zijn, maar dat is het niet. Ook in het filmpje zit een abrupte overgang (in deze straat kijkt de hoofdpersoon voor het eerst ook niet om, in alle voorgaande scenes werd er continue om- en rondgekeken). Aan het einde van deze straat zit een AH (alweer AH??)

Zover ik kan terug vinden is dit de AH op de Daalseweg 200 (maps.google.com...

Hollywood heeft deze week al drie keer aan de lijn gehangen bij student natuurwetenschappen Tim Smit. Reden: zijn filmpje What\'s in the box? op Youtube. Binnen zes dagen is het al meer dan 150.000 keer bekeken. Het filmpje speelt zich af op de Nijmeegse campus en is zowel spannend en mysterieus als futuristisch.

Perfecte audio. De juiste keuzes op de juiste momenten. Zoals even het \'easy-listening\' muziekje in de bus, zodat je extra schrikt als er ineens iemand langs de bus loopt en er ineens suspense-muziek klinkt.
En dan de (After Effects?) effecten. Briljant. Tegenover een Nederlands decor heeft dat iets heel bijzonders.

Je hebt idd wel een aantal wegen goed gevonden.
Het meeste speelt zich af rondom de AH op de daalsweg in Nijmegen-Oost. Op het moment dat je ziet dat die container wordt opgeblazen dan loopt de persoon over het parkeerterrein van de AH. Om de hoek is de daalseweg ook gewoon waar ze over blijven lopen. Er is verder wel in geknipt, maar niet heel veel. Het zijn allemaal kleine straatjes in een straal van 200 meter om de AH zegmaar.

De maker van dit filmpje woont uiteraard ook in Nijmegen.

Voor iedereen: Het was gisteravond ook in DWDD. Misschien nog wel de moeitewaard om op uitzendinggemist te kijken.
