Een speciaal laagje waardoor ze \'s nachts beter kunnen zien...? Hou toch op man. Dat ze \'s nachts beter kunnen zien heeft gewoon met meer staafjes op het netvlies te maken en door de grote ogen, kan de pupil zo groot worden dat het beestje in het donker nog beter kan zien.

Als het licht te fel is, dan worden de pupillen zo klein als nodig is en eventueel zijn er de oogleden als het nog teveel is. Hetzelfde effect als ik jou \'s nacht met een zaklamp in je porrum schijn. Ga je ook niet eerder dood van, dramaqueen. Ik keur het niet goed, maar zon onzinverhaal als jij ophangt, slaat ook totaal nergens op.

Het netvlies van die ogen heeft een extra reflectielaagje om het invallende licht twee keer op de staafjes te projecteren. Daardoor kunnen de ogen wel degelijk schade oplopen door te fel daglicht.

Er staat nadrukkelijk de \'HUISkat\' bij. Ik reageerde op de druktemakerij over het Tapetum lucidum, dat vliesje dus. Ik stelde dus dat huiskatten het ook hebben en die lopen ook lekker in het zonnetje.

Overigens zijn er naderhand genoeg links gepost die aangeven dat er wel degelijk schade kan optreden bij overvloedig licht. Echt fel is het licht in deze kamer echter niet en wat mij betreft ziet het aapje er niet \'overbelicht\'(lol) uit.
Verder weet ik de details niet. Ben geen deskundige op dit gebied.
