INderdaad zijn de vortex-chtige luchtwervelingen al gevaarlijk voor kleine vliegtuigen, laat staan voor modelvliegtuigjes.
Toch zijn de meeste vliegtuigcockpitramen bestand tegen een vogelaanvaring met een middelgrote vogel. Maar de fanbladen en de turbobladen van de motoren kunnen wel wat hebben. Vraag me toch af of een modelvliegtuigje niet een enorme schade had kunnen aanrichten, met name in de fanbladen. Voor de windshield ben ik minder bang, omdat de laminaire luchtstroom langs de neus de klap zouden hebben opgevangen..Maar toch, welke supermongool gaat modelvliegen in de final?

Dit riekt naar een hoox. De vortex van de rechtervleugel is namelijk tegen de klok in, gekeken in vliegrichting (draait van de onderkant van de vleugel naar de bovenkant toe vanaf de wingtip, zie deze video:

Heb ik ook altijd voor als ik ga paramotoren....ik woon op max 30 km van zaventem, maar ze vliegen wel net boven mijn huis ( waar ik opstijg ) op een hoogte van 800 meter. Die jumbojets voel je dan echt wel als je er onder vliegt.

Wake turbulence is heftig. Bij Schiphol heb ik boomtakken zien afbreken door wake turbulence. Het klinkt ook gaaf! Alsof er een enorme zweep door de lucht zwiept. 1 van de redenen waarom vliegtuigen een onderlinge afstand van meerdere kilometers t.o.v. elkaar moeten bewaren.
