Het grootste verschil, met de Bugatti laat je zien dat je heel,heel veel geld hebt en geen greintje smaak,met de McLaren show je geld,smaak en gevoel voor auto\'s.

Overigens rijdt iemand hier uit de buurt in zo\'n Bugatti,en ik geef eerlijk toe dat ik toch kippenvel krijg als ik hem tegenkom, gewoon op de openbare weg.

Ik was ervan overtuigd dat de McLaren zou gaan winnen, en na de start werd ik alleen maar zekerder. Echt verrassend dat die Veyron er toch nog voorbij kwam. Bij een quarter mile drag zou de McLaren wel gewonnen hebben dus.
Ben trouwens wel benieuwd welke van de twee sneller is op het Top Gear circuit... De Veyron deed het in 1:18.3 maar de F1 kon ik niet vinden in de lijst. www.topgear.com...

Denk het niet. Bij alle eedere metingen was de Veyron sneller, ook de eerste 100, 200 en 300 meter. Ook niet gek aangezien hij het voordeel heeft van 4WD en een turbomotor (maximum trekkracht over een breed toerenbereik). De F1 kan normaal gesproken geen volgas geven tot om en nabij 140 km/u, vanwege wielspin. En dat is onder ideale omstandigheden. M.a.w., of Hammond zat te snurken, of de Veyron was niet bij de les.

Als ik het goed heb heeft de Veyron dus absoluut gezien meer pk\'s en de McLaren een hogere pk/weight ratio. In het begin komt de McLaren dus voor te liggen omdat hij sneller optrekt. Bij hoge snelheden (erg veel luchtweerstand) gaan de absolute hoeveelheid pk\'s tellen en komt de Veyron dus naar voren.
Een en ander zal inderdaad ook wel liggen aan het verschil Hammond-Stig.
