-=PyP=- 30-12-09 @ 00:01 Zooo daar gaan we weer. Ome Willie zal het nog maar eens uitleggen dan. Ik heb een spuitlicentie en een hoogstam boomgaard namelijk. Ik weet.

Allereerst is het ONMOGELIJK om zonder gewasbeschermingsmiddelen commerciëel appels te telen/oogsten. Zelfs voor de hobby-telert als Willie niet. Schimmels en beestjes eten nagenoeg de hele boom inclusief bladeren en appels op. Dus spuiten is noodzakelijk. Gemiddeld genomen spuit een teler ongeveer 20 soorten chemicaliën (!!!) gedurende de teelt. Dat verschilt een beetje per ras maar 20 soorten is heel normaal.

Je hebt grofweg twee soorten gewasbeschermingsmiddelen: systemisch en niet-systemisch. Zowel tegen beetjes als tegen schimmels of combinaties daarvan. De eerste groep kruipt via de sapstroom in alle delen van de boom en heeft vaak een langere nawerking. De tweede groep werkt als contact en maaggif en heeft vaak een korte werkingsduur. De chemicaliën vallen uiteindelijk door zuurstof, temperatuur en/of zonlicht uit elkaar, de een wat sneller dan de andere.

Wanneer de teler alle veiligheidsvoorschriften nauwkeurig opvolgt en dan specifiek de veiligheidstermijnen (de tijd tussen de laatst mogelijke bespuiting en de oogst) zullen er in het uiteindelijke eindproduct nagenoeg geen resten terug gevonden kunnen worden. Gelukkig is het hier in Nederland goed gesteld met opleidingen en voorschriften en zijn appels en peren schoon. Wassen heeft dus i.d.d. weinig nut maar niet om de reden die jij noemt.

Anders gaat het in het buitenland. Ik eet NIETS uit Spanje en Griekenland.

Craen Voghell 30-12-09 @ 23:02 Ik gebruik redelijk wat van de middelen uit je lijst. De VBC zit er al op. Daar neem je veel overwinteraars mee te grazen. Herhaal ik nog eens vlak voor het uitlopen. Daarna bijhouden met Spruzit, Calypso, Envidor, Admire, Runner tegen de bladroller, Exact enz.
Aangezien het voor de hobby is spuit ik pas als er echt serieuze aantastingen zijn. Alleen VBC Calypso en Admire gebruik ik preventief.

Willianus Wortelus 30-12-09 @ 23:29 Dan lig je netjes op schema voor een hobby telert!! Zo lang de oorwurm het overleeft weet je wél zeker dat je niet alles dood met je insecticide, maar een oorwurmpje is geen probleem. Zijn het al ouwe bomen dan?

Craen Voghell 30-12-09 @ 23:36 Senks. Met oorwurmhotel bedoel ik geen mooie oude stam met gaten maar een bloempot op zijn kop met stro erin :)
Het zijn 48 bomen van 10 tot 14 jaar oud. Appel pruim peer kers. Allemaal oude rassen die het redelijk tot goed doen op zand.
En hoe kom jij aan een spuitlicentie? Werk?
